In view of extra-ordinary situation arose out of COVID-19 Lockdown, the matter is taken up through video conferencing.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and
learned counsel for the State.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Petitioner is in custody since 22.11.2019 and Charge sheet has been submitted. In this case no T.I. Parade has been conducted. Chance of absconding is remote for having root in village-Sovarampur, P.S. Sahadevkhunta, Dist. Balasore.
Having regards to the nature of accusation and period of detention, I am inclined to extend the benefit of Sec.439 Cr.P.C. to the petitioner.
Hence, it is ordered that the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Balasore in the aforesaid case, subject to such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper by the learned court below.
The bail application is accordingly disposed of.
