In compliance of the order dated 20.02.2019, Mr. Sohail Ahmad, Regional Manager, Central Bank of India, Regional Office, First Floor, Surya Nagar, Bhubaneswar appears in person and files an affidavit, of which paragraphs-5 and 6, states as follows:-
“5) That the petitioner has served the Bank for a period of 13 years and his contribution towards provident fund is amounting to Rs.25,239.88 and he is also eligible to get interest prevailing from time to ime present rate is 8% as such amounting to Rs.99,907.49 in total Rs.1,25,147.37 paise.
6) That accordingly this deponent is depositing herewith a Demand Draft bearing No.110248, dated 12.03.2019 amounting of Rs.1,25,147.37 paise favouring Sri Barun Kumar Pradhan, i.e., the petitioner for payment of his contribution of provident fund and the same may kindly be accepted and this deponent also may kindly be pardoned for the delay in payment of the same.”
A demand draft bearing no.110248 dated 12.03.2019 amounting to Rs.1,25,147.37 in favour of Barun Kumar Pradhan, the petitioner is produced in Court today.
In such view of the matter, let the aforesaid demand draft bearing no.110248 dated 12.03.2019 amounting to Rs.1,25,147.37 be received by the petitioner himself duly identified by the counsel appearing for the petitioner in presence of Registrar (Judicial) in course of the day and photo copy of the
demand draft be kept on record.
Since the order of this Court has been complied with, the personal appearance of Mr. Sohail Ahmad, Regional Manager, Central Bank of India is dispensed with.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
