Petitioner in this writ petition seeks for a direction to opposite party Nos. 2 and 3 i.e. Director (R&R), Department of Water Resources, Bhubaneswar and Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Khariar in the district of Nuapada to pay the compensation for acquisition of land for construction of Lower Indra Irrigation Project Khariar as per the judgment dated 23.02.2019 passed in L.A.R. Case No. 18 of 2012 as well as the calculation sheet made under Annexure-2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner has filed an application for higher compensation which was referred to Civil Court for adjudication. The Civil Court registered it as L.A.R. No. 18 of 2012 and same was disposed of on 23.02.2019 and higher compensation was awarded. Thereafter the opposite party No.3 submitted the calculation sheet to opposite party No.2 on 16.7.2019 for sanction of the decreetal amount for payment of the same to the petitioner. He further submitted that till date the amount has not been disbursed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a similar writ petition bearing W.P.(C) No. 11296 of 2019 has been disposed of on 30.07.2019 directing opposite party no.1 to sanction the amount at an early stage and to take expeditious step for disbursement of the compensation amount. This writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the order passed in the said writ petition. Learned Additional Government Advocate has also no objection to the aforesaid submission made by learned

counsel for the petitioner.
In view of the above, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to opposite party No.1 to sanction the amount at an early stage and thereafter the opposite party No.3-Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Khariar in the district of Nuapada shall take expeditious step for disbursement of the compensation amount. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months hence.
