Heard learned counsel the petitioner.
The petitioner has filed this application seeking for a direction to opposite parties to place the petitioner in Senior Scale and Reader Scale respectively by computing the period of 8 years and 16 years of service from the date of initial appointment of the petitioner in the Government College i.e. S.C.S. College, Puri with effect from 24.08.1974 in terms of the Resolution under Annexure-2 as has been done in case of the State Selection Board candidates under Annexure-5 and 6 and further seeks for a direction to opposite parties to extend all other consequential service benefits including the pensionary benefits accordingly to the petitioner within a reasonable time.
In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before authority highlighting his grievance, which may be considered within a stipulated time.
Considering the contention raised by learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court disposes of the writ application granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the concerned authority highlighting his grievance within a period of two weeks from today. If such representation is filed within the time stipulated, the authority shall consider the same within a period of three months thereafter and pass appropriate order in accordance with the provisions of law.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
