4 03.12.2019 Heard Mr. Lalit Sahu on behalf of Mr. N. Lenka, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B. Senapati, learned Additional Government Advocate.
Against the order of cancellation of residence certificate passed by the Tahasildar, G.B. Nagar, Mayurbhanj, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition.
Mr. B. Senapati, learned Additional Government Advocate contended that against cancellation of residence certificate, appeal lies. Without availing alternative remedy, the petitioner has directly approached this Court.
Mr. Lalit Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioner in course of hearing contended that the petitioner may be granted liberty to approach the appropriate forum, to which learned Additional Government Advocate raised no objection.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum.
