Heard Mr. A.K. Sahoo, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B. Mohanty, learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department.
The petitioner has filed the writ petition seeking for direction for consideration of his representation under Annexure-7 by which he seeks for approval to his appointment against the Additional Section Post of Class-VIII(B) and release his monthly salary under direct payment scheme.
In view of the nature of relief sought, this writ petition is not maintainable before this Court. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum under Section 24-B of the Orissa Education Act, if he is so advised.
With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
