The petitioner has filed this application seeking direction to the opposite parties to regularize his service in the post of Watchman-cum-Sweeper in Class-D categories, where he was appointed in the year 1998 and further seeks for a direction to give appointment to him in the present existing vacancy vide Annexure-5 considering his earlier service period of same category-D class employee.
Mr. B.P. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that since in the meantime 13 years have been passed, with efflux of time, the relief sought in the present application may not be permissible. In any case, if any outstanding is lying with the opposite parties, the same may be computed and paid to the petitioner within a stipulated time.
Learned counsel for the opposite parties contended that if any outstanding is there, the same shall be paid to the petitioner, if there is no other impediment.
Considering the contention raised by learned
counsel for the parties and after going through the records, this writ petition stands disposed of directing the opposite parties to compute the benefits admissible to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and pay the same to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of communication/production of a certified copy of this order.
