Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate for the State.
The petitioners are stated to have filed a representation vide Annexure-2 before the Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri, (Opposite Party No.2) for redressal of their grievance. The said representation is stated to be pending.
Regard being had to the facts and submissions and without going into the merit of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri, (Opposite Party No.2) to dispose of the representation of the petitioners vide Annexure-2 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order, by passing a reasoned order. If necessary, opportunity of personal hearing shall be given to the petitioners.
The petitioners are directed to supply the copy of the writ petition containing all the annexures to Opposite Party No.2 along with a certified copy of this order for convenience and reference to Annexure-2.
It is made clear that, if the petitioners are found to have any hereditary right, such right should not be disturbed.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
