Heard Mr. B.Senapati, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the State opposite parties, and perused the record.
The petitioner files this writ application seeking to quash order dated 06.08.2007 in Annexure-4 passed by the Director, Higher Education, Odisha in rejecting the claim of the petitioner.
The petitioner had filed W.P.(C) No. 17552 of 2006 challenging the action taken by the Principal, Gopabandhu Choudhury College in the district of Jajpur in prohibiting to resume her normal duty and to allow her to discharge duty and to grant all consequential benefits as admissible to her. The said writ application was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 10.04.2007 with the direction to the petitioner to prefer appeal before the Director, Higher Education, Odisha. In compliance of the same, the petitioner preferred appeal and on receipt of the order of this Court and appeal memo from the petitioner, the Director heard the matter and directed the Principal to submit the record. On the basis of the documents submitted by the Principal, Gopabandhu Choudhury College, as well as the petitioner, it was found that the petitioner was a member of the Governing Body of the College and attended the Governing Body meeting on 31.08.1998. But she claimed to be the Lecturer in Odia and in support of her claim she produced xerox copy of progress register. But the said document was found to be tampered one, and as such, the original of such document having not been produced, the Director, Higher Education, Odisha came to the conclusion that on the basis of the tampered document no inference can

be drawn with regard to continuance of the petitioner and accordingly rejected the appeal. This Court does not find any illegality or irregularity committed by the Director, Higher Education, Odisha so as to interfere with the order impugned. The writ application does not merit consideration and the same is hereby dismissed.
