This matter is taken up in the National Lok
Adalat.
Heard learned counsel for the appellants and learned counsel for respondent No.2-Insurance Company as well as its representatives, who are present. It is stated at Bar that no appeal has been filed by the Insurance Company.
It is agreed to by the parties that a further consolidated amount of Rs.2,30,000/- only shall be payable by the Insurance Company to the claimantsappellants over and above the awarded amount. Accordingly, a further consolidated amount of Rs.2,30,000/- (rupees two lakhs thirty thousand) shall be deposited by the Insurance Company before the Tribunal within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. On such deposit being made, the said amount shall be proportionately disbursed in favour of the claimants as per the direction given in the award.
As the settlement is arrived at before the Lok Adalat, no court fee shall be levied on the claimants.
The MACA is accordingly disposed of.
