Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Dash, learned Additional Standing Counsel.
This is an application for extension of time for filing of an application as directed vide order dated 08.08.2019.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in tune with order dated 08.08.2019, the petitioner could not file the application before the Competent Authority/Standing Committee under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2019 on account of non-receipt of certified copy of the said order in time. In such back ground, he prays for extension of time to file the said application.
Considering the submissions made and in modification of the order dated 08.08.2019, this Court grants four weeks time from today to the petitioner for filing of the application before the Competent Authority/Standing Committee under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2019 as directed by this Court vide order dated 08.08.2019. The rest part of the said order shall remain unaltered.
Accordingly, the I.A. is disposed of.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
