Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Dash, learned Additional Standing Counsel.
According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the grievance of the petitioner in this case relates to inaction of opposite party No.1 in taking a decision on his representation dated 05.08.2019 under Annexure-2 though he has made serious allegations against the subordinate police officers. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on Annexure-2 sent through registered post within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party No.1 to take a decision on Annexure-2 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of the certified copy of this order.
