The offence alleged is under Sec.52(a) of the Odisha Excise Act and the allegation is to the effect that 117 litres of foreign liquors were seized from the possession of the petitioner.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is inside custody since 21.10.2019.
Considering the period of detention of the petitioner inside custody, it is directed to release the petitioner on bail in connection with Podia P.S. Case No.51/2019 corresponding to G.R. Case No.330/2019 on such terms and conditions to be fixed by the learned court below in seisin over the matter including the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the I.I.C., Jagarkonda PS once in each fortnight for a period of six months hence.
The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
