Heard learned counsel of the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate for the State-opposite party.

The petitioners are working/retired Physical Education Teachers in different colleges. The grievance of the petitioners is that the opposite parties are not extending the benefit of RACP scheme w.e.f.01.01.2013 and revised grade pay of Rs.4600/- to Rs.5400/- and Rs.6600/- on completion of 10, 20 and 30 years of service in single post in lieu of promotion and not maintaining parity to that of their counterpart working under similar situated in Govt. colleges of the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have made a representation to the Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, Bhubaneswar, opposite party no.1, vide Annexure-11. He further submits that a direction may be issued to the opposite party no.1 to dispose of the same within a stipulated time.

Considering the innocuous prayer, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the opposite party no.1 to dispose of the representation of the petitioners vide Annexure-11 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the

date of production of a certified copy of this order. In the event the opposite party no.1 comes to a conclusion that the petitioners are entitled to get the benefit of RACP Scheme, necessary steps shall be taken for disbursement of the amount as expeditiously as possible.
