Heard.
The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of direction upon the opposite party no.2 to regularize the absent period of 1461 days as contained under Annexure-4 with the further direction to sanction and release the pension amount as per 7th Pay Commission (Annexure-6).
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he has already ventilated his grievance by way of representation under Annexure-7 dated 7.6.2017, as such the authorities may be directed to take decision on pending representation.
On the other hand, learned counsel for the opposite party-State has submitted that if no decision has been taken on the pending representation (Annexure-7), same shall be looked into.
On such submission and without entering into the merit of claim of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of directing the opposite party no.2-the Commissioner, Cuttack Municipal Corporation to take decision on pending representation (Annexure-7) in accordance with law after scrutinizing the record pertaining to the issue within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and shall communicate the same to the petitioner.
