The grievance of the petitioner is that he has made an application, vide Annexure-1, under Rule 7(a) of the Orissa Timber and other Forest Produce Transit Rules, 1980 before the Divisional Forest Officer, Deogarh Division, Deogarh, opposite party no.2. Till yet the same has not been disposed of.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction may be issued to the Divisional Forest Officer, Deogarh Division, Deogarh, opposite party no.2, to dispose of the application, vide Annexure-1, on merit.
Considering the innocuous prayer, this Court disposes of the petition with a direction to the Divisional Forest Officer, Deogarh Division, Deogarh, opposite party no.2, to dispose of the application of the petitioner, vide Annexure-1, for grant of T.T Permit in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of the order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case.
