Heard learned counsel for the parties.
By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the opposite parties 1 and 2 to disburse the sanctioned amount in favour of 546 destitute women through their Savings Bank Account.
Though several opportunities were granted to the State to file counter and last of such opportunities was granted on 26.11.2018, we think it appropriate to interfere with the action of the opposite parties. Accordingly, the opposite parties are directed to disburse the sanctioned amount in favour of 546 destitute women through their Savings Bank Account, if they are found eligible. If they are not having any bank account, the petitioner will assist them to open their bank account within a period of one week from today and with effect from the 1st of January, 2019, all payments shall be made in favour of 546 women through their respective bank accounts, if they are otherwise entitled on verification of the records.
This writ petition is allowed to the aforesaid extent.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
