02 19.12.2018 Heard Mr. J.K. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.K. Mishra, learned Additional Government Advocate.
The petitioner has filed the contempt petition for non-compliance of the order dated 19.09.2016 passed by this court in W.P.(C) No.4059 of 2016 by which this court directed the opposite parties to consider the grievance of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of production of the certified copy of the order and arrear dues, if any, would be paid in consonance with the judgment rendered by the apex Court in Union of India v. Tarsem Singh, 2008(8) SCC 648.
Mr. J.K. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the order passed by this Court has not been complied with.
Mr. A.K. Mishra, learned Additional Government Advocate produces the order dated 12.10.2017 passed by the Government of Odisha, Department of Higher Education in Court today by which the grievance of the petitioner has been considered and rejected by the Government.
Considering the contentions raised by learned counsel for the parties and after going through the order dated 12.10.2017 produced by learned Additional Government Advocate, since the order of this Court has

been complied with, this Court is not proposed to pass any order with regard to contempt. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 12.10.2017 passed by the Government of Odisha, Department of Higher Education, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum ventilating his grievances. The order so filed be kept on record.
With the above observation, the contempt petition stands disposed of.
