10.4.2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
It is alleged by the petitioners that there is an attempt by the public authority t
o evict them and demolish their homestead lands without following due process of law and in ab
sence of any proceeding even.
Under the circumstance and after considering the rival contentions of the parties,
this matter stands disposed of with direction to the public authority that in the event no pro
ceeding has been initiated against the petitioners and the petitioners are still in occupation
of the disputed land, they may not be evicted without following due process of law.
