 04. 21.08.2017 The dispute in the present case is with regard to levy of Octr
oi on one particular consignment of the petitioner by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
 It is contended that no such Octroi could be levied because the goods were in
transit to Cuttack where it was to be consumed. The contention thus is that the Bhubaneswar Mu
nicipal Corporation could not have levied and collected the Octroi on such goods.

 With regard to such grievance, the petitioner has already filed representation
 on 18.9.1996 before the Executive Officer, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation which has not ye
t been decided.

 In the facts and circumstances of the case, we dispose of this writ petition w
ith a direction that the said representation of the petitioner dated 18.9.1996 shall be consid
ered and decided by the Executive Officer, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation by a reasoned and
 speaking order as expeditiously as possible, but not later than two months from the date of f
iling of certified copy of this order along with photocopy of the representation dated 18.9.19
96.

 With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
