16. 02.05.2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned c
ounsel for the State.

 This writ application has been filed with a prayer for directi
ng Opposite Party Nos. 1 & 2 to make proper investigation in Choudwar P. S. Case No. 265 of 20
15 registered U/ss. 418, 420, 422, 380, 294, 506/34 of IPC.

 The informant is the mother-in-law and the so-called accused i
s her younger daughter-in-law. Allegations are made by the mother-in-law-petitioner that in sp
ite of her undertaking, the accused is not paying a portion of the salary and she is getting f
rom her service which she got under rehabilitation scheme and on the other hand, she tried to
sell the family property which has been mortgaged for loan, and that she took away the house-h
old articles and jewellery of the informant and left the house and is staying separately.

 It is stated by the learned counsel for the State that investi
gation in this case is already over and final form has been submitted.

 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the investigat
ion is perfunctory and no effort was made by the Investigating Agency to search the house of a
ccused to find out whether the gold jewellery of the informant was taken by her or not?

 It is brought to the notice of the Court that in her statement
 U/s. 161 of CrPC the informant stated that her elder daughter-in-laws gold jewellery was take
n away by the accused. Besides, there are no specifications of gold jewellery, the date of the
ir acquisition and their value. The accused has also initiated criminal proceeding U/s. 498-A,
 IPC against the informant and other in-laws. Since investigation is already over, k
eeping in view the statement of the informant, this Court feels that no further order needs to
 be passed in this matter.

 The CRLMP thus stands disposed of.
