10.8.2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

 This writ petition has been filed for quashing the confiscation proceeding bearing OR Ca
se No. 76G/2014-15 pending before the Authorised Officer-cum-Assistant Conservator of Forest,
Keonjhar Division, Keonjhar.

 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the meantime, in pursuance of the sum
mons dated 14.8.2015 of the learned Authorized Officer-cum-Assistant Conservator of Forest, Ke
onjhar Division, Keonjhar, he has already filed his show cause and the matter is still pending
 before the Authority. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Tractor/Trolley of
the petitioner bearing Registration No. OR-11-F-6391/6392 has been seized in connection with f
orest offence illegally since 13.11.2014 and therefore, direction may be issued to the opp.pa
rty no. 4 to take up the confiscation proceeding at an earliest and dispose of the same in acc
ordance with law.

 Learned counsel for the State has no objection to such prayer.

 Considering the prayer made and taking into account the date of seizure of the Tractor/T
rolley to be 13.11.2014, I direct to opp.no.4 Asst. Conservator of Forests to dispose of OR
Case No. 76G/2014-15 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months fro
m the date of receipt of the order of this

Court, after affording due opportunity to the respective parties.

The petitioner shall produce the certified copy of the order before the opposite party n o.4 within two weeks.

 Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of.
