4. 26.10.2016 In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a directi
on to the Sub-Registrar, Puri to register the deed of sale of the petitioner coming to the ho
use of the petitioner and taking fees from the petitioner, as the petitioner is a sick pers
on and unable to proceed to the Registering Authority,
Considering the rival contentions of learned counsel appearing for the pa
rties, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file an appl
ication before the Sub-Registrar, Puri-opposite party no.2 with requisite fees through an auth
orized person for moving of the Sub-Registrar to the house of the petitioner for registering t
he instrument. Sub-Registrar, Puri-opposite party no.2 is also directed to take a decision in
the matter of registration within a period of ten days from the date of submission of the appl
ication along with the instrument. In the event Sub-Registrar is not inclined to register the
instrument, he shall give reason for such non-registration.
