e order dated 24.11.2003 passed by the Joint Commissioner, Settlement and Consolidation, Samba
lpur in Consolidation Revision No.578 of 2001 under Annexure-3.
Considering the grounds of delay indicated i
n the writ petition and as submitted, this Court finds the ground made herein is not sufficien
t. Due to efflux of time particularly, 13 years in the meantime, a right virtually has been a
ccrued in favour of the contesting opposite parties. Under the circumstance, entertaining the
writ petition will disturb the settled position in the meantime.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed on account of gross delay.
