It has been submitted by learned counsel appearing for opposite party School
and Mass Education Department that since the petitioner is seeking direction to allow his stud
ents to appear in the High School Certificate Examination for the year 2006 and since the exam
ination has already been completed, hence the writ petition has become infructuous.
Accordingly and considering the prayer which pertains to issuance of direction
upon the opposite parties to allow the students of petitioners institution to appear in the H
igh School Certificate Examination-2006, hence the writ petition has become infructuous for th
e reason that the examination which was to be held in the year 2006 has already been conducted
