Government Advocate.
During the midst of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that t
he lease case filed by the petitioner bearing Lease Case No. 06/1993 is pending before the Tah
asildar, Kamakhyanagar and if a direction is given to the said opposite party to dispose of th
e said lease case within a stipulated period, the grievance of the petitioner as made in this
writ petition would be redressed.
Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, witho
ut expressing any opinion as to the merits of the case, this Court directs the sole opposite p
arty to dispose of Lease Case No. 06/1993, if pending, in accordance with law as early as poss
ible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of the certified co
py of the order, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to produce the certified copy of
the order before the sole opposite party within two weeks.
The writ application is accordingly disposed of.
