02. 24.11.2016 The grievance of the petitioner is that a Water Treatment Plan
t has been established on a particular plot, which is meant for public utility. The said Water
 Treatment Plant is undoubtedly for the benefit of the villagers.

 The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is anot
her government land close to the land where the said Water Treatment Plant should be establish
ed and not on the plot in question.

 Keeping in view the fact that establishment of the Water Treatment Plant is fo
r public utility and would thus benefit the residents of the village, we are not inclined to i
nterfere with the establishment of the same merely on the suggestion of the petitioner instead
 of one place it should be established at another place, as undisputedly the place where it ha
s been established that land belongs to the Government.

 Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
