 In this case, as it appears, this Court issued notice to the opposite parties on 26.10
.1998 and directed that copy of the petitions be served on the new Standing Counsel (Central),
 who was present in Court, and further directed to put up misc. case no.11868 of 1998 for orde
rs on Monday next. In compliance of the said order, misc. case no.11868 of 1998 was placed be
fore the Court on 02.11.1998 and on the prayer of the counsel the matter was directed to be li
sted on the next day, i.e., 03.11.1998. On that day (03.11.1998), this Court in misc. case no
.11868 of 1998 passed order to the following effect:

 Heard Mr. S.P. Misra, learned AGA for the State and the learned Counsel for the Region
al Provident Fund Commissioner. In this case notice has already been issued. We do not find
any ratio in the order passed by the other Bench passing extraordinary ad interim order. We a
re given to understand that so far as NMR employees are concerned, the R.P.F. authorities will
 not take any step to pursue the impugned demand notice. However, with regard to the work-cha
rged employees it is open to the R.P.F. authorities to proceed according to law.

Due to non-filing of requisites for issuance of notice, the matter was listed on 14.05.1999, o
n which date it was directed that requisites for issuance of notice shall be filed within one
week after the summer vacation, as requested. But, till date no requisites have been filed for
 issuance of notice to the opposite party. Since it is an old case of the year 1998, this Cou
rt is not inclined to accede to the further prayer of the petitioner to take steps for filing
requisites for issuance of notice to the opposite party.

 Accordingly, for non-compliance of order dated 14.05.1999, the writ petition stands di
smissed.
