19.11.2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The grievance of the petitioner is that he is a Scheduled Tribe, but his land
has forcibly occupied by the Bolani Ores Mines. Pursuant to the order of this Court, the petit
ioner has filed an application before the Sub-Collector, Champua, but the later has not taken
the same.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that liberty may be granted to the
petitioner to file an appropriate application under the provisions of Regulation-2 of 1956 bef
ore the Sub-Collector, Keonjhar.
Considering the innocuous prayer, the petition is disposed of granting liberty
to the petitioner to file an appropriate application under the provisions of Regulation-2 of
1956 before the Sub-Collector, Keonjhar. In the event, the application is filed, the Sub-Colle
ctor, Keonjhar shall do well to dispose of the same on merit as expeditiously as possible.
