06. 09.10.2015 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

 This appeal by the claimants-appellants is directed against th
e judgment/award dated 26.12.2014, passed by the learned Sixth Motor Accident Claims Tribunal,
 Khurda, in M.A.C.T. No.136/86 of 2013/2012, awarding an amount of Rs.4,14,500/- as compensati
on along with interest @7% per annum from the date of filing of the claim application, till re
alization. The claimants seek enhancement of the compensation amount.

 Considering the submissions made and keeping in view the findi
ngs of the learned Tribunal given in the impugned award with regard to the quantum of compensa
tion amount awarded and the basis on which the same has been arrived at, I feel, the interest
of justice would be best served, if the claimants are awarded the further consolidated compens
ation amount of Rs.1,25,000/- (rupees one lakh twenty five thousand), on which no interest is
payable. The impugned award is modified to the said extent only.

 The Insurance Company-respondent no.2 is directed to deposit t
he further consolidated compensation amount of Rs.1,25,000/- (rupees one lakh twenty five thou
sand) with the learned Tribunal within six weeks hence, which shall be disbursed to the claima
nts on proper identification.

 M.A.C.A. is accordingly disposed of.

 Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
