 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

 Though the matter was listed for orders, on the consen
t of the parties the same is being taken up for final disposal.

 This appeal by the Insurance Company is directed again
st the judgment/award dated 06.8.2015, passed by the Commissioner for Employees Compensation,
Cuttack, in E.C. Case No.199-D of 2013, awarding an amount of Rs.8,73,880/- to be deposited wi
thin 30 days, failing which, interest 12% per annum shall be payable on the awarded amount fro
m the date of accident, till payment.

 Considering the grounds taken in the appeal and the su
bmissions made by learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view the quantum of compensat
ion amount awarded and the basis on which the same has been arrived at, I feel, the interest o
f justice would be best served if the compensation amount of Rs.8,73,880/- is modified and red
uced to Rs.7,50,000/- (rupees seven lakhs fifty thousand), which is payable to the claimants-r
espondent nos.1 to 4, on which no interest is payable. The impugned award is modified to the s
aid extent.

 The Commissioner for Employees Compensation, Cuttack, is direc
ted to disburse the modified compensation amount of Rs.7,50,000/- (rupees seven lakhs fifty th
ousand) along with accrued interest thereon to the claimants-respondent nos.1 to 4. The balanc
e deposited amount along with accrued interest thereon shall be refunded to the appellant-Insu
rance Company.
