The petitioner is implicated in the offence punishable U/S. 51 of the Wildlife
Protection Act, 1972 and other allied offences on the allegation that one Leopard skin and tw
o Deer skins were seized from his possession.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, one Tape Singh and Hamir Bask
ey had given those skins to the petitioner to sell the same and it is fairly submitted at the
Bar that, there is no record of previous criminal antecedent against the petitioner.
Prosecution Report is stated to have been filed, in the meantime.
Considered the materials placed by learned counsel for the parties.
Taking into consideration the facts and submissions, factum of permanent resid
ence of the petitioner and completion of enquiry, it is directed that the petitioner shall be
released on bail by the learned S.D.J.M., Baripada in 2 (b) C.C. Case No.11
of 2015 on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper.
The bail application is accordingly disposed of. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
