15. The Mancherial Municipality respectfully submits that the quantity of waste collected from various wards substantially corresponds to the quantity transported to the dumping yard. Daily reconciliation of municipal solid waste quantities is carried out through field records maintained by the Sanitary Supervisors and vehicle operators. 16. The above reconciliation clearly demonstrates that the Mancherial Municipality is collecting and transporting the entire quantity of municipal solid waste generated within its jurisdiction on a daily basis. The quantity generated, collected, transported and received at the dumping yard is maintained through municipal records, thereby ensuring accountability and preventing unauthorized disposal of municipal solid waste. BULK WASTE GENERATORS 17. I respectfully submit that in compliance with the provisions of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 , the Mancherial Municipality has identified all Bulk Waste Generators functioning within the municipal limits and has initiated regulatory measures to ensure scientific management of waste generated by such establishments. 18. Presently, 36 Bulk Waste Generators have been identified within the jurisdiction of the Mancherial Municipality. These include hotels, function halls, hospitals and commercial establishments. 19. The above data indicates that the identified Bulk Waste Generators produce approximately 4,300 kilograms of municipal solid waste per day , of which 3,950 kilograms constitute biodegradable wet waste and 350 kilograms constitute recyclable dry waste. The biodegradable fraction is transported to the municipal processing facility, while recyclable materials are segregated and handed over to authorized private recyclers and scrap dealers. 20. In order to achieve full compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, the Mancherial Municipality has issued notices to all identified Bulk Waste Generators directing them to establish in-situ composting facilities for treatment of biodegradable waste within their respective premises. The Mancherial Municipality is conducting periodic inspections to ensure compliance with these directions.
