4. It is pertinent to mention here that the connection to "Naya Johad' is before the interceptor chamber. Further, currently, the connection to this water body from the Storm water drain situated at MP Road No.210 has been severed and closed, in order to prevent any contaminated water to flow into the water body.”

“14. The conclusion of the Inspection carried out on 27.07.2024, is reproduced below:
The copy of the inspection note dated 27.07.2024, along with acknowledgment of receipt of the persons present during the inspection is annexed herewith as Annexure R-6.
“15. It is relevant to mention here that the sewerage /dirty water and discharge from these outfalls is trapped by an interceptor chamber, before entering Trunk Drain No.2 (Peripheral drain) and through separate pipes transferred to 7 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), which after tertiary level treatment is discharged into Trunk Drain No.2 (Peripheral Drain) again. The said STP was completed and inaugurated in February, 2024, in Compliance to the directions issued by this Hon'ble Tribunal on 05.03.2020 in OA No. 06/2012 in the matter of Manoj Mishra v/s Union of India. This STP caters to discharge of sewerage from outfalls of storm water drain of nearby areas.
16. It is also submitted that the connection to 'Naya Johad' is before the interceptor chamber and as such, currently, the connection to this water body from the Storm water drain situated at MP Road No.210 has been severed and closed, in order to prevent any contaminated water to flow into the water body.”

Thereafter a joint inspection of the SWD at MP Road No. 210(110) and MP Road No.226 was conducted on 25/02/2015, wherein the representatives of DDA and DJB were present., Captain Mann resident of Sadbhavna Society, Sector 23, Dwarka, and the exPresident of Chitrakoot Society, Sector 23, Dwarka, were also present. The SWD was inspected and the following observations were recorded in the inspection note,
2. The interconnection of the storm water drain and sewer line within the premises of the Chitrakoot society is found to be plugged . No intermixing of sewage and strong water drain observed at the site.
3. The storm water drain outside the Chitrakoot Society is found dried up, without any flow.
Conclusion :

No intermixing of sewarage and storm water drain from Sai enclave, EPFO building, Sector 23, Dwarka via sector 22/23 crossing up to Chitrakoot CGHS, Sector-22, Dwarka.".

4. The connection to 'Naya Johad' from the Storm water drain situated at MP Road No.210 has been severed and closed. Since the completion and inauguration of the 7 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in February, 2024, the recharge source of the Johad has been from the overflow of Trunk Drain-02 at Ch. No. 2900 and Ch. No. 3100. The water in the said channels before entering Trunk Drain No.2 (Peripheral drain) is treated at 7 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant and thereafter discharged into Trunk Drain No.2 (Peripheral Drain) again. Photographs of the connections at Channel 2900 and Channel 3100 along with some recent photographs of the Naya Johad are annexed hereto as Annexure R-3(colly) .”
