1. The learned counsel appearing for the applicant has sent an e-mail attaching the memo, wherein it is stated that the applicant wants to withdraw the original application filed by him. The contents of the memo are as follows:
WITHDRAWAL MEMO SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT
1. I am the counsel for the applicant in the above mentioned original application. The applicant approached this Tribunal with the prayers interalia seeking a declaration that the 1st and 4th respondents must conduct a proper, scientific Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and prepare an Environment Management Plan (EMP) before establishing the fecal sludge CETP in Thaneermukkom village, and prays for directions restraining the 4th respondent from commencing construction without prior environmental clearance from the 3rd respondent.
2. It is respectfully submitted that the relief sought in the original application has become infructuous in view of the completion of construction of the fecal sludge CETP in Thaneermukkom village, by the 4th respondent. In the above circumstances, as orally submitted before this Tribunal on 16.07.2025, it is most humbly prayed that this Tribunal may be pleased to withdraw the original application, with liberty to approach this Tribunal afresh against the violations, in accordance with law, if so warranted in future.

3. The memo referred to above is taken on record and the Original Application [O.A. No.48 of 2023(SZ)] is dismissed as withdrawn. The pending interlocutory application [I.A. No.63 of 2023 (SZ)] shall stand closed.
