The instant Contempt case has been filed on the allegation that the direction given by this Court in the order dated 17.04.2021 has not been complied with. It has been submitted by Mr. Y. Nirmolchand, learned Senior counsel appearing for the respondent that in compliance with the Court’s order, the Government of Manipur had issued an order dated 18.06.2021 indicating the places of posting in respect of the petitioners, followed by a speaking order dated 31.07.2021.
It has been submitted by Mr. D.J.Riamei, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that it is not clear as to whether the posts against which the petitioners have been transferred and posted, are cadre posts or not but on perusal of the said order, it is seen that out of the 7(seven) posts, 6(six) petitioners have been posted against the posts which appear to be prima facie cadre posts. So far as the 7th petitioner is concerned, the post against which he has been transferred and posted appears to be not a cadre post.
