The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking issuance

of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents not to alienate the petitioner's ancestral property in Patta Nos.1042 and 1824, which is situated at Padmaneri Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2026.

2 . The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition cannot be

granted. According to the petitioner, the property in question is an ancestral property and the same has been unilaterally alienated by the fifth respondent. Such disputed questions relating to title and the validity of the alienations cannot be adjudicated in proceedings under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. However, it is always open to the petitioner to work out her remedies before the competent Civil Court by instituting appropriate proceedings.
