The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider the application dated 05.12.2023 submitted by the petitioner.

The said application is filed under Section 10 of the Maintenance and Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 for enhancing the maintenance amount. The petitioner's grievance is that as of today, the first respondent has not disposed of the said application dated 05.12.2023.
