The petitioner purchased 91.37 cents in Old Survey No.326/2, New Survey No.326/23 and Survey No.326/1 through a registered sale deed. The petitioner submitted an application to the respondents to provide electricity service connection to the said lands. However, the said application has not been processed stating that his vendor is in arrears of consumption charges of Rs.8,45,380/-.

Learned Standing counsel for the respondents on instructions submitted that the petitioner has purchased 91.37 cents out of 549 cents and he is liable to pay proportionately a sum of Rs.2,73,104/-. Upon such deposit, the petitioner will be provided with service connection subject to the petitioner satisfies other criteria.
