ORDER

The petitioner asserts that she became the owner of land in Survey No.57/1 of the extent of 49 cents under gift settlement deed dated 14.05.2003. From and out of the said lands, about 20 cents were acquired under the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of lands for Harijan Welfare Scheme Act, 1978. On the ground that compensation was not paid in respect of such acquisition, the petitioner submitted representation dated 20.11.2025. The present writ petition relates thereto.

Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. On the basis of written instructions, he submits that the inquiry has been scheduled on 12.01.2026 in relation to the petitioner’s representation. After providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, he submits that the representation would be disposed of on merits within four

weeks .
