The petitioner had lodged an appeal under the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook

Act, 1983 before the Revenue Divisional Officer with regard to a patta issued in favour of third parties. In relation thereto, the Revenue Divisional Officer addressed a communication dated 27.01.2025 to the Sub-Registrar. Since the said request of the Revenue Divisional Officer has not been acted upon till date, the present writ petition has been filed.

Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts

notice for all the respondents. He submits that the Sub-Registrar would pass a speaking order and communicate the same to the petitioner and other parties concerned.
