Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the 7th respondent – PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, to forthwith permit the petitioner to continue his B.Sc., (Electronics) course without any obstruction, allow him to attend ongoing and future classes, internal assessments and examinations, and release his withheld first semester results and consequently, directing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to consider the petitioner’s representation, dated 26.09.2025 and 17.10.2025 to issue suitable instructions to the 7th respondent College to ensure that legally registered Sri Lankan Refugee student, the petitioner is not subjected to discrimination or arbitrary obstruction in education.

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the seventh respondent to permit the petitioner to continue his B.Sc., (Electronics) course without any obstruction and allow him to attend ongoing and future classes, internal assessments and examinations and release his withheld first semester results and consequently, direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to consider the petitioner’s representation, dated 26.09.2025 and 17.10.2025 and to issue suitable instructions to the seventh respondent College.

this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms:-
(i) As per the communication, dated 03.12.2025 of the third
respondent, the seventh respondent shall forthwith permit the petitioner to rejoin the petitioner and permit him to continue the course from the stage in which it is permissible as per the Rules;
(ii) The authorities shall act on the web-copy of the order
without waiting for a certified copy of order;
(iii) There shall be no order as to costs.
