This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner’s representation dated 19.02.2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner claims that by virtue of the assignment proceedings

dated 05.10.2010, the petitioner was put in possession of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. The petitioner has applied for patta through his representation dated 19.02.2024 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

Mr. R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner’s representation dated 19.02.2024, seeking for issuance of patta in his name for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation.
