ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the 2^nd respondent to consider the petitioner’s online Application dated 23.09.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made an online Application dated 23.09.2025 to conduct survey and fix the boundaries in respect of his property comprised in SF.No.204/16A situated at Seeliampatty Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District with the aid of the 4^th respondent police. However, no action has been taken on the said application till date. Hence, this writ petition.

Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government’s Counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.Durai Gunasekaran, learned Government’s Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the 4^th respondent. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran submits that the petitioner’s online application dated 23.09.2025 will be considered within a period of six weeks.

petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner’s online application dated 23.09.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, and carry out a survey and complete the process, after giving prior notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event any obstructions created by the third parties, the respondents 2 and 3 are at liberty to request for police protection before jurisdictional police. If any such request is made, the jurisdictional police is directed to provide an adequate police protection for conducting the survey.

6. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent to conduct a survey and lay boundary stones at the subject land. In the event any dispute arises regarding the possession of the subject property, the same has to be decided by way of filing a suit before the competent Civil Court.
