Mr. P. Siddarth, learned Government Counsel, accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3 and 5 to 7. Mr. P. Srinivas, learned Standing Counsel,

accepts notice for the fourth respondent.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to consider his representation dated 24.11.2025. In the said representation, the petitioner requested the authorities to direct the fourth respondent to remove the road allegedly laid over his property and to direct the third respondent to issue a patta in respect of the subject property.

The petitioner claims to be the owner of Plot No.2, measuring

1,440 sq.ft., in Survey No.74, Periyakuppam Village, Thiruvallur District.

According to the petitioner, the fourth respondent has laid a road over the said property without following due process of law, thereby violating his right to property guaranteed under Article 300A of the Constitution of India.

petitioner’s representation will be considered in accordance with law within such time as may be fixed by this Court.

Recording the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to conduct a survey of the subject property, with the assistance of the third respondent, in the presence of the petitioner and the fourth respondent. If, upon such survey, it is found that the road has been laid on the petitioner’s patta land, the second respondent shall pass appropriate orders for removal of the unauthorised road, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
