This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:-

“calling for the records of the 2nd respondent relating to the order No.Ku.No. 2235/S5/TNSTC (Villupuram Kancheepuran Region) 2025 dated 23.02.2026 to quash the same and to issue consequential directions to restore the basic pay Rs.55,100/- and also consider him for promotion as Checking Inspector with retrospective effect from the date of promotion of his immediate Junior with consequential benefits, all within a limited time frame.”

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records. By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the matter was taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

It is seen that an alternate remedy is available to the petitioner in the form of an Appeal. However, without exhausting the said alternative remedy, the petitioner has rushed to this Court by way of a writ petition.

Therefore, considering the fact that the petitioner has an effective alternative remedy available in the form of an Appeal, the writ petition is dismissed, granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent forum
