WP.No.25114 of 2026 has been filed for the following reliefs:-

The case of the petitioners is that they joined the respondent Transport Corporation on various dates and retired from service during the years 2024 and 2025.. The petitioners retired from service prior to the wage settlement entered into under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, dated 29.05.2025, which was given retrospective effect from 01.09.2023. As per the said settlement, the petitioners are entitled to revision of pay and consequential terminal benefits such as difference in salary, surrender leave salary, dearness allowance, gratuity and pension etc. However, the said benefits have not been extended to the petitioners. In this regard, the petitioners had submitted their respective representations to the respondents. Since the said representations were not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1^st respondent fairly submitted that they are willing to revise the pay scale of the petitioners in accordance with the 15th Wage Settlement and to pay the eligible and admissible differential amount due to the petitioners, together with interest at

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of 1^st respondent.

In view of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of 1^st respondent, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to revise the pay scale of the petitioners as per the 15^th Wage Settlement and pay the eligible and admissible differential amount due to the petitioners in accordance with the 15th Wage Settlement, together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date on which the amounts became due till the date of actual payment. This payment shall be made within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
