COMMON ORDER

W.P.No.23065 of 2015 has been filed challenging the order passed by

the 2 nd respondent in A.P.No.33/2010, dated 05.12.2013, and to quash the same.

2 . W.P.No.13134 of 2022 has been filed challenging the order

dated 30.12.2019 passed by the 1 st Additional Labour Court, Chennai in C.P.No.135 of 2017 and to quash the same.

3 . When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner/corporation would submit that pending the writ petitions, the Workman had died and a settlement has been arrived at with the legal heirs. The relevant benefits have already been disbursed and what remains is only the disbursement of pension, which will also be disbursed in due course of time.

4 . In view thereof, nothing further survives for adjudication in these writ petitions and, with the observation that the petitioner/corporation shall process the papers for grant of pension in accordance with law, these two writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
