Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus directing the Respondents 1 to 4 to approve forthwith the date of her appointment viz., 06.06.2012 in the 5th Respondent school and release salary and other benefits attached to the said post with effect from the said date.

This writ petition is filed for the following relief:

“To direct respondents 1 to 4 to approve forthwith the date of her appointment viz., 06.06.2012 in the 5th Respondent school and release salary and other benefits attached to the said post with effect from the said date.”

The petitioner was initially appointed as a Primary School

Teacher in the 5^th respondent school in the year 2000, on a consolidated pay. Thereafter, she was appointed as a Trainee Graduate Teacher in a sanctioned post on 06.06.2012. The 5^th respondent school sent a proposal for approval of her appointment for disbursement of grant-in-aid to the official respondents. However, the same has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court for the aforesaid relief.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has been appointed as a Trainee Graduate Teacher on 06.06.2012 and the fact that the proposal for approval sent by the 5^th respondent has not been considered till date, respondents 1 to 4 are directed to pass orders on the proposal based on the extant rules, within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
