The petitioner has challenged the tender notification dated 31.12.2024, inviting bids for the operation and maintenance of three existing tennis courts for a period of two years. The petitioner’s grievance is that the tender was issued even though his existing contract was valid until 10.01.2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner’s contract has since expired and that possession of the three tennis courts has already been handed over to the Nungambakkam Tennis Club.
